We use special alloys for extremely high resistance to aggressive media and corrosion which falls above the normal types of steel. SERTO has extensive know-how in the preparation of other alloys such as Hastelloy® and Monel®, but also Incoloy®, Inconel®, SMO®, Duplex and Superduplex.
Due to the high material costs and demanding processing (for example longer production times, higher wear of coolants and tools), long-standing experience with special alloys is an important pre-requisite for high efficiency. Ask your SERTO advisor for solutions to your challenges!
Hastelloy® is the brand name of a steel alloy from the US company Haynes International Inc. The main agent is today one with the best qualities of the nickel-chrome-molybdenum-group with regard to corrosion, resistance to pitting corrosion or split corrosion.

Monel®, a brand from the US company Special Metals Corporation, is a nickel-copper alloy with high stability and outstanding corrosion resistance, specifically at high flow velocities.

Ecobrass®is a brass without toxic additives such as lead and nickel. It is an excellent material to work with. The mechanical strength properties are in the same range as some special types of steel, which tend to have values exceeding those typical of brass.
