New version of stainless steel compact valves
Following the revision of the stainless steel non-return valves, SERTO has now also adapted its range of stainless steel compact valves to accommodate market demands. The factors relevant for customers, e.g. price, overall dimensions and application parameters, remain the same.

SERTO took a closer look at the profitability and market attractiveness of the stainless steel compact valves and consequently initiated several improvements. No changes were made to the compact design, the overall dimensions, the pressure and application parameters, the range of products and the prices. The base bodies of the new version are made of forgings. This improves the material quality regarding pressure resistance and leak tightness. Important: the operating pressures have not changed as a result! Tube connections sized < 4 mm have been discontinued. In keeping with our efforts towards standardization, a few dimensions which are not relevant to the function have been modified. The reason is that some versions have been changed to reduction compression ferrules. Towards the end of 2009, new fine-regulating versions will be added to the product range.

The new version of stainless steel compact valves will be introduced gradually. We reckon that the first articles with the new base bodies will be ready for dispatch by autumn 2009. The old version will only be available as a special part as soon as the changeover has been completed.
